Service 3 of 4

The plumbing your team never has to think about.

Microsoft 365 set up properly, calls answered through Microsoft Teams instead of an old desk phone system, and an internet line that doesn't drop at 4pm on a Friday. Switch-overs done outside working hours, with a back-out plan ready if anything wobbles.

Where we focus

Four pillars of modern workplace and connectivity.

Microsoft 365

Email, files and Teams set up properly

Phones

Take calls through Teams, no desk phone

Internet

Business broadband, fibre and leased lines

Cloud servers

Microsoft Azure, no on-site server room

How a migration runs

Three weekends, normally.

Step 01

Look at what's there

We audit your current Microsoft 365 setup, what licences you're paying for, your phone system and your internet speeds. You get a written summary of what we'd change, with a fixed-price quote, before anything is touched.

Step 02

Switch over at 6pm Friday

Most of the work happens before the night itself. Email and files are copied across in stages. Phone numbers are reserved with the carrier weeks in advance, only the final flip happens on Friday evening. Engineer on-site Monday morning to mop up. If anything's off, we have a written plan to roll back.

Step 03

Run it from there

Once you're live we manage the licences, tighten the security settings, train the team, and answer the day-to-day questions. The dull-but-important bit that keeps things smooth.

What's included

The full cloud and communications stack.

Cloud and comms terms in plain English Click to see what these mean.
Microsoft 365
The bundle that includes Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint. Used to be called Office 365.
Tenancy
Your company's "account" inside Microsoft 365, where all your email, files and users live.
SharePoint / OneDrive
Where your company files live in Microsoft 365. SharePoint is for shared team files, OneDrive is for personal work files.
Exchange Online
Microsoft's cloud email service, what powers Outlook for business.
Teams Phone
Make and answer business calls inside Microsoft Teams instead of using desk phones.
Number porting
Moving your existing phone numbers across to a new system without losing them.
SoGEA / FTTP
Two types of business broadband. SoGEA uses your phone line; FTTP is full fibre into the building.
Leased line / Ethernet
A dedicated internet connection just for your business, faster and more reliable, but pricier.
SD-WAN
A way of using two internet connections at once, so if one drops you stay online.
Microsoft Azure
Microsoft's cloud platform for hosting servers and websites instead of having them in your office.
IaaS
"Infrastructure as a Service", renting cloud servers from Microsoft instead of buying physical ones.
AVD / Windows 365
"Azure Virtual Desktop" and "Windows 365", Microsoft's cloud-hosted Windows desktops. Staff log in from any device (Mac, iPad, old laptop) and get a full Windows desktop streamed to them.
Microsoft Copilot
Microsoft's AI assistant inside 365. Drafts emails, summarises Teams meetings, builds Excel formulas from a plain-English prompt. Licensed per user per month, only worth it if your team actually uses Word/Excel/Outlook every day.
Entra ID
Microsoft's cloud user-account system (used to be called Azure Active Directory). What signs people in to Microsoft 365 and connected apps.
Disaster Recovery (DR)
The plan for getting your IT back up if something major happens, fire, flood, ransomware.
